I've never had a 'real' 9-to-5 job, and I've always been my own boss. I'm financially secure and enjoy what I'm doing because I learned years ago to turn a blind eye toward the three demons that separate gamblers from their money: Greed, Ego and Immaturity.
The secret to my sports gambling success? It's my 3-part plan: One part opinion, one part money-management system and one part 'who you know.'
After 20 years in this business I will put my opinion up against anyone, but it sure helps that there is nobody I don't know or have access to. When the sharpest crews are using runners to get them down on hot games, I'm always ahead of the bookies on the information chain.
Understand this: I live in a world where 'who you know' is just as important as what you know, but in the end, I always go with my strongest opinion and never let a 'wise guy move' throw me off a winner.
I first debuted at this site back in April of 2008, following an introduction by Sean Michaels, a guy I've known for over 15 years. It was the first time I ever made my plays available to the public. I left in January of 2013, because of a personal family issue that made it impossible for me to devote the time to update a website 365 days a year. But now I'm back, refreshed and ready to roll.
What I always enjoyed about this site - and the reason why it was the only place I considered when returning as a full-time handicapper - is that it provided me with 100% freedom of speech with no censorship. I love the fact every handicapper at this site is an independent contractor and welcome the competition.
The only catch is I have to win to be successful, but that hasn't changed in the 20+ years I've been doing this for a living so let me continue to validate my opinion with my ability to make you - and myself - money.
